Her knowledge extends past her years involved directly in sales and business development of leading residential and contract interior design companies, into a deeper understanding of how to relate to people and help them see not only the bigger picture, but also a new way of looking at that picture.

Before Emily Dunn joined forces with Deborah Flate and Dialogue Consulting, Emily has worked as the Director of Internet Marketing for a web design/development company, and spent several years prior as a Community Manager for an online social network where she was afforded the opportunity to cultivate relationships and found a passion for social media. Previous to that engagement, Emily worked for several years as an Inside Sales Representative for a high end residential showroom in Southern California. In her sales position, she realized the importance of “relationship marketing” and what it truly means to sell more than just products. Emily has a B.A. of Interior Design from Michigan State University and although she loves the Interior Design industry, she now finds that her creative side has found a better outlet online.
Soraya Hernandez has been in practice for over nineteen years, serving the business and planning needs of privately-held and family-owned businesses in the construction industry, both in the United States and in Latin America. She brings to Dialogue Consulting both an engineering/construction point of view as well as a deep knowledge of financial planning.
Initially trained as a Civil Engineer at the University of Notre Dame, focusing on highway, road and bridge, and commercial design and construction management, Soraya went on to follow her other professional curiosity (passion) and attained a MBA degree with honors in Operations Management and International Business, with a Finance and Investment Management concentration, at the Loyola University Chicago Graduate School of Business.
